Clan Colquhoun at the St. Louis Scottish Games and Cultural Festival 2026 – Kara Whittaker
We are happy to report the Clan Colquhoun International and Loch Lomond Initiative tents at the St. Louis Scottish Games were once again filled with both visitors and members despite the downpouring rains.

We were excited to cheer on and support our newest Missouri member, John Erfurdt the Third, in the heavy games competition and our CCIS members from Ohio, Michelle and kids, who competed in the dance competition.

In true Loch Lomond Initiative style, we invited Clan Buchanan, Kirkpatrick, Gregor and MacFarlane to a friendly Axe Throwing competition during a break in the rain. Clan MacFarlane won the Tunnock’s Tea Cakes prize even though Clan Kirkpatrick tried to stack the target. It was a great time with lots of laughter and friendly banter.
